Evangelical Ethics by John Jefferson Davis Provides short but informative summaries of the major ethical issues challenging the church, including divorce, contraception, abortion, euthanasia and capital punishment. Unfortunately, bioethics is not included.
God at Work by Gene Edward Veith Examines not just work, but the Biblical idea of calling and how it relates to all areas of life. Very helpful book in showing how all aspects of life are equally sacred and valued by God.
Straight and Narrow? by Thomas E. Schmidt Excellent analysis of the issue of homosexuality from a medical and Biblical standpoint. Medical evidence of the dangers of homosexual activity are all from secular journals. Schmidt gives significant attention to the efforts of some exegetes to use the Bible to excuse the homosexual lifestyle.
